Agreement and operator
These Terms govern your use of the Moondu iOS application and moondu.app, operated under the Moondu brand by BMR89 LTDA (public-facing business name). The precise registered entity details must be confirmed before release. By using Moondu, you agree to these Terms, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
What Moondu provides
Moondu offers approximate lunar phase and zodiac-position information, reflective writing prompts, daily planning suggestions, a lunar calendar, and an optional personal journal. Moondu is intended for reflection and entertainment or general wellness inspiration. Astrological interpretations are symbolic, not scientifically validated predictions, and are not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions.
Eligibility and acceptable use
Use Moondu only in accordance with applicable laws and Apple’s usage rules. Do not interfere with the app or website, attempt unauthorized access, misuse intellectual property or use the service to harm others. If you are below the age of legal majority, use the app only with any consent required by your local law.
Free and Premium features
Moondu includes a free experience and optional Premium features. Premium is intended to unlock expanded daily guidance and journal functionality as described in the app’s purchase screen. The precise feature list is shown in the app at the time of purchase and may evolve; we will not remove paid access during a paid term in violation of applicable law.
Subscription plans and introductory offer
The planned US storefront reference prices are US$6.99 per month for Moondu Premium Monthly (no introductory trial) and US$39.99 per year for Moondu Premium Annual (a 7-day free trial for eligible customers only). These are planned prices, not a guarantee of your local price. Actual prices, currency, taxes, trial availability and offer eligibility are determined by the App Store purchase screen and may vary by country or change before launch. The Apple confirmation sheet is authoritative for the purchase you authorize.
Automatic renewal and billing
Premium subscriptions renew automatically for the same subscription period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s applicable rules. Apple charges your Apple account according to the offer and price shown at checkout. For eligible annual trials, payment begins automatically after the free-trial period unless you cancel before it ends. A free trial may be unavailable if you have previously used an introductory offer for the relevant subscription group. Purchasing or restoring a subscription requires an eligible Apple account and may require internet access.
Cancel, manage and restore
You can cancel or manage an Apple subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting Moondu does not cancel your subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewals, while access continues until the end of the paid period, subject to Apple’s rules. Use the app’s Restore Purchases option if an eligible purchase is not recognized. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, subject to applicable law; visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
What happens when Premium ends
When Premium access expires, features requiring an active subscription, including creating or editing Premium journal entries, may be disabled. The intended product behavior is that previously saved journal entries remain available locally for reading, export and deletion even without Premium. Local entries are not guaranteed to be recoverable if the app is removed, device data is lost or backups are unavailable. We will verify this behavior in the release build before launch.
Your journal content
You retain ownership of text you write in your personal journal. You are responsible for keeping your device and exported copies secure. Moondu does not claim ownership of your private entries. You may export or delete your entries using the available app controls.
Accuracy and availability
Lunar calculations are approximate, artwork is illustrative and content may contain errors or omissions. The service may be updated, temporarily unavailable or modified for maintenance, security or compliance. We aim to maintain a reliable experience but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular personal outcome.
Intellectual property
Moondu’s name, branding, original illustrations, interface, software and editorial content are owned by or licensed to the operator and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s usage rules. You may not redistribute Moondu content commercially without permission.
Apple terms
Moondu is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple is responsible for the App Store billing and purchase infrastructure, while the Moondu operator is responsible for the app and its content to the extent required by law. Unless a separate custom license is adopted, the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, as applicable. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Moondu is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of personal results or the accuracy of symbolic interpretations. We do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Statutory consumer rights and mandatory remedies remain unaffected.
Termination and changes
You may stop using Moondu at any time; stopping use does not itself cancel an active subscription. We may restrict access for material misuse, consistent with applicable law. We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary and will post the revised date and provide additional notice where legally required. Material changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued.
Governing law
These Terms are interpreted under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence where those rules apply. Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive non-waivable rights or submit to an unlawful forum.
